Sounds like bribery and/or the people at C&W have been discovered supporting the "wrong" political candidates.

It is possible. At least the bribery piece. Probably "someone that knows someone". Wyoming is a "small" state. I wont say "most of the time" but often fuckery like this is exposed and costs a lot of $$$.

On a side note, I've always wanted to go to Wyoming.

Wyoming is full. Plenty of cool places to visit though. DM me if you intend to go. Just know that everything is possibly hours or hundreds of miles away from everything else. Its not like driving around most of the country.
