From the post: "Wyoming Gov. Mark Gordon signed the state’s first school choice program into law.

Though he did line-item veto, part of the measure.

HB 166 – gives parents a choice in what schools are available to them.

It's more commonly known as the Wyoming Education Savings Accounts (ESA) Act.

This act will create an ESA program for low-income students.

Scholarship amounts are prorated based on family income.

Families at 150% or less of the federal poverty level can receive $6,000; families at or below 200% receive $4,800, and so on until the income limit of 500%."

In AZ we have vouchers. You just move your kid to a new school and they get the tax dollars. I don't think they have anything for homeschooling which sucks. It is encouraging the schools to drop certain craziness but it has also made a bunch of junk art/neurodivergent schools advertised at parents who don't know how to raise their vax damaged kids who just do it for the cash.

Most schools are just government sponsored daycare. If you want your kids to be successful you need to be more involved in their learning. If you can, you should be homeschooling. You can teach a kid in 4 hours a day what takes them 2 weeks to try (And fail) to teach a kid for 7-8 hours a day.

Absolutely. My mom says if she could go back and do it again she would have homeschooled me. My brother was completely different, super social, and likes to follow whatever he is told so she would have left him in public school lol.
