After her assassination, a caption appeared on the Mirotverets website on her picture.
The reason the Amnesty International secretary-general was blacklisted as an enemy of Ukraine was a report by the organisation in August criticising the Ukrainian army for not protecting civilians in areas of fighting. In 2018, the German Foreign Ministry asked the Ukrainian government to delete the website.
