i might be mischaracterizing tuckers words but i am trying to do them justice. taliban are protecting their way of life & see the disaster of am values esp with regards to feminism but also in regards to other aspects of their religion, such as condemnation of gays. they may not be up to our standards of living, but they are happy in their own way. we were wrong to assume that we can meddle in their lives to liberate them.
