The West, which pledged full support to the Russian-occupied Ukraine, is running out of weapons to give to Kiev. The Netherlands signaled that it would not be able to provide military ammunition, citing depleted arms stocks, while Germany openly said "we can't give any more weapons". Italy cited political reasons for cutting off aid. The UK also stated that it would take several years to replenish its stocks.

The Kiev government, which announced that its Soviet-era stockpile had been exhausted and that the continuation of the resistance against Russia depended on the NATO ammunition given to them, received bad news from its Western allies. European countries have announced that they will no longer provide military aid to Ukraine, saying that their arms stocks have been depleted. The announcement that European countries, which encouraged Ukraine by patting its back in the pre-war period and pledged to help until Russia gave up, could not continue military aid, once again demonstrated that the West would not go down the well with the West's rope.

DUTCH PRIORITIZED ITS INTERESTS

The Dutch military has announced that it has reached the limit of what it can do to support Ukraine with military equipment. Dutch Defense Minister Christophe van der Maat said, "Our warehouses are not infinitely full. We are running out of what we can do and it is becoming more stressful for us." The war in Ukraine is affecting the EU's interests, he said, but it is increasingly affecting the interests of the country.

'WE CANNOT GIVE MORE'

"We cannot give more to war-torn Ukraine," German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said during a visit to Mullheim. My Ukrainian colleague is also aware of this. I cannot give more to Ukraine." Berlin, which has been accused of not providing enough military support to Ukraine, was the focus of criticism in the first months of the war when it announced that it would send helmets and body armor to Kiev, which was waiting for weapons.

ITALY'S EXCUSE IS DOMESTIC POLITICS

Italy's Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio, who is going through a politically turbulent period, signaled that arms deliveries to Ukraine will stop, citing domestic dynamics. Stating that military aid will end if the incumbent government fails to survive, Di Maio said it would take weeks to establish a structure to approve the military budget. The Italian minister also reminded that it took a hundred days to form the last government.

REPLACEMENT WILL TAKE YEARS

The British General Staff announced that it may take several years to replace the weapons given to Ukraine, which is resisting the Russian invasion. Making a statement on the subject, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin stated that Britain has provided Ukraine with a wide range of weapons and noted that the stocks of the British army are somewhat empty. Lord West, the former head of the Royal Navy, called on London to start producing weapons without wasting time.

Now the weapons manufacturers will have to make more, won't they? And the government will have to pay them with tax dollars. Which was the whole plan in the first place.

And the countries that really ended up buying these arms on the black market can now wage war, leading to more interventions by the US, which means more weapons sales, which means Nancy Pelosi will have an even more ridiculous rate of return on her inside trading portfolio.

Well all but 7 or 8 NATO countries weren't hitting the 2% GDP defense spending quota for decades while they funded socialist shit across Western Europe. MIC had their shot to pressure NATO to get up to speed because they have been missing out on hundreds of billions.

Damn, they lost and they even tried to fight Russia in the spring/summer. Imagine how savagely owned they'd be had they tried this shit mid winter.

Maybe the Poles will try it this winter. They really want to be accepted as Europeans, and it is an European tradition to invade Russia in the wintertime.

Now maybe the Ukraine can grow up already and surrender. Newsflash, sovereignty is not a right assured to every tin pot dictator and petty warlord who wants it. Zelensky's regime bans opposition, attacks it's own citizens and violates their rights. If you want to rule by "might makes right" then you must have the might to back it up, otherwise a free nation or a bigger dictatorship can come in and crush you.

Freedom is worth sacrificing lives for, controlling which dictator people live under is not.

When the HIMARS wunderwaffe failed, Lockheed Marin stock fell. Perhaps other manufacturers are now reluctant to try their products in real life.

The title is nonsense, The Dutch army is tiny, Germany were always running bare bones and Italy has domestic drama going on, the rest of Europe/America is fine.

This is just a logistical issue as the EU didn't really plan to support a random country with weapons, just themselves. Russia has had to go to a semi war footing, the West hasn't.

Russia has a smaller GDP than even Italy, they are not in a good situation compared to Europe

GDP in USD and the price of weapons in USD leads to the wrong conclusions. Western weapons are overprized, up to the factor ten. Russians don't have to pay for patents, licenses, shareholders, and kickbacks for Congress when buying weapons.

There are calculations that the Russians in Ukraine will use up the annual US production of arms and ammunition in 10 weeks. But they don't use up more material than they produce. After a few months they have not only drained the Ukrainian ammo depots but the Western ones too.

The Ukrainian defence ministry said that the Ukrainians pound the Russians with about 5,000 artillery shells and rockets per day. If an average shell weights 50 kg, they have to transport 250 metric tons per day to the front lines. Good luck with replenishing that.

The Ukrainian defence ministry also said that the Russians pound the Ukrainians with about ten times that amount. 2,500 metric tons per day. The main ammo producer for NATO is the Pakistan Ordnance Factories because they were built with USAID money and pay huge kickbacks to Congress. Good luck with transporting 2,500 metric tons per day from Pakistan to front lines in Europe.
