The ruble is backed by gold as of two months ago. Putin broke off from the petrodollar markets and demanded EU countries pay for his energy with Rubles.
The seven largest economies in the EU have banned the import of Russian gold.
This is going to create a massive currency market between India, China (both major buyers) and Russia.
This new market will drain massive volume and demand from previously US Dollar markets and create a cold-war rift between the west and the RIC part of BRIC.
This saps the power of the petrodollar, and Rothschild influence around the world.
I wouldn't call that meaningless.
International trade for countries like the US, Russia and others that can fully support 100% of their needs, and then some: is jewish.

Also the vast majority of gold and all precious gems sit in unopened warehouses never to see the light of day. Until that is; the crash. Then this will be poured into the economy to regain full control.

Kadafi issues a gold back currency, less than a month later? Dead. Iraq opens an oil borse without USD? Saddam Hussein, dead shortly thereafter.
The petrodollar depends on it being used to trade for energy. It doesn't matter if Putin's currency is backed by gummy bears. He chose gold, and the g7 banning gold's import is a proxy currency war against Russia.
There are two possibilities:
1) the entire thing is a gayop, they want to crash the US dollar, and have a plan to implement CBDCs and the great reset. Putin is in on it.
2) it's a legit oligarch struggle for control of the NWO between the Russian jewish oligarchs and the european rothschild/schiff family oligarch circles.
1 is a fucking disaster, and the people involved in 2 started both world wars. Neither is a good thing.
