As soon as the SWIFT sanctions went into effect, China started to trade oil in Yuan... and over the last 2 weeks the rest of the world has quietly started accepting Yuan for oil. First was Russia obviously... but them came India, and then came Saudi Arabia... And just like that the sanctions became mute and the Dollar stopped being the 'Petro-Dollar' and the Yuan was the new reserve currency of the world.
There may be some short-term chaos as the new system solidifies but the West lost this war before it even started. There will be no regime change in Russia.
