It is only hypocritical if you take at face value the words of our (((western elites))), what actually happens is that (((they))) promote and reward people and corporations that help the current "agenda" with titles and merits while punishing/ignoring those who work against it. The merit prizes themselves are mere shallow tools devoided of their natural prestige only to work as a positive stimulus, once you take upon these lenses reality makes a lot more sense, answers like why does (((EU))) back Navalny but not Assange get answered.
