The president at the conference after the Cabinet Council meeting emphasized that during the celebrations of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the German Nazi Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp in Jerusalem on January 23, Russian President Vladimir Putin as well as the presidents of Germany, France and representatives of Great Britain and the USA will speak.
I will not take part in the celebrations in Jerusalem on January 23. The position of the entire Polish government and mine was such that either Poland would be able to speak there or I would not take part in this event - said President Andrzej Duda during a press conference.
According to Andrzej Duda, the lack of a Polish president's speech during these ceremonies is a "hypocrisy of history."
