If I could dream, I would love to see this being the start of the fall of a house of cards. Specifically on how Trudeau has been using the progressive groundswell of rape culture, metoo-ing, and white guilt to shit all over the Canadian populace. I'd really like it to be a chance for the people to take a step back and see what he is. If this were to happen I don't believe it'll turn in to a nationalist stance or anything like that, but I could see a shift to a more neutral stance overall and the loss of face, trust, and political power for Trudeau's party. That would be in line with what happens when you build political power based on a primarily (solely?) emotional platform and the supporters' emotions change. I don't find building policy or politics on emotional stances to be a good long term strategy- they lack the strength and endurance that logic or rational thought has.
