A Boeing 737 carrying more than 133 people has crashed in mountains in China, with smoke seen billowing from the scene.

Chinese state television says the plane, flying from Kunming to Guangzhou, had an “accident” over Guangxi.

The China Eastern Airlines flight had 133 passengers onboard at the time of the incident.

It is unknown how many casualties there are but rescue is said to be on its way to the mountainous region.

Flight data claimed to be from the flight shows the plane dropped from 24,000 to the ground in just minutes, giving crew little time to react to whatever the issue was.

The news report on TV just played a video of a CCTV pointing at the area where the plane crashed and you can see it dropping vertically at terminal velocity.

Must have been terrible for people onboard, if they were still conscious.

Holy shit

The plane didn't show any sign of smoke/fire. It was just nosediving straight down like an arrow.

I'll try to find the video and post it here.

old 737 or is this another computerised flying brick 737 max?

[–] 1 pt

Not a max, an 800.

2015 airplane according to reports.

flying brick version then. apparently not

these things happen when you try and put heavier engines on the same wings on an old aircraft.

Likely this was pilot error or deliberate. Close family member is retired B avionics tech, and has lots of stories about these planes and crashes. Training issues and lack of keeping maintenance up on planes has been a factor is many of these "accidents". One story from his co-worker whom was overseas training customers. He caught workers on a 737 wing with shovels removing ice.

The 737 Max was the curry nigger engineer design that has a habit of falling out of the sky.

The 737 max accidents were down to bad Boeing design. This was 737-800 so probably won't find out until the black box is found.

You never know when your time is up. In a situation like this, it must be especially bad. A normal flight over China. Suddenly the plane nose dives towards the earth. You look all around as your fellow passengers panic. You plummet from 30,000 feet straight down. Your last thoughts are, "I wish there was a nigger on this flight that I could choke to death".

Hiring a Chinese pilot to fly your plane is like hiring a retard. Maybe he won't crash.

How many onboard held patents jointly with rothschilds?
