I used to pay $25 for a haircut every six months or so. Now I'm cutting my own hair and even bought a clipper--it was almost impossible to cut hair on the back of the head using scissors. Never going back to a barber ever again. I doubt I'm the only one.
It is unenforceable even with digital ID. There is nothing stopping restaurants knowingly letting people without digital ID. The French police are largely incompetent and uninterested in enforcing this anyway, it's a communist fantasy that all these small businesses are just going to go along with this.
France has to its benefit a very anti-corporate culture especially in smaller towns where shopping in small businesses is the norm. This makes it very hard for the communists. It will be different in the UK and America where other than in the countryside, every town has the same few corporate franchises who will enforce the poz.
