Was the plane made in Nigeria and/or flown by Nigerians?

Oh can only guess. Was decommissioned in U.S. 60 years ago, sold to E. Euro budget airline, then to shithole Asian country 40 years later. Was destined for scrap when some bribes diverted it to Africa after fresh paint job. No worries though, looks like their version of NTSB has just arrived from Lagos and will get all the details figured out.

No different than that Boeing 777 engine that exploded over the US yesterday. Probably failed for the same reasons. Designed built and maintained by a team of imported Nigerians.

Maybe they should stick to building aerospace vehicles out of wood and propelled by burning dung. Like the Wakandans did when they landed a spaceship on Jupiter 20,000 years ago.

Countries and cultures maybe just need to stick at what they are good at. Buy products and services from other ones instead. I would not expect the best NYC cab driver to be an expert Kenyan Bison herder or such.
