Turned out good I think. I didnt paint that shit thank god but I did fill, caulk everything. I did the drawings so I could figure out the spacing beforehand and from floor to ceiling I was only off half an inch over 16 feet. I blame the shitty framing and not even close to flat drywall. Used pine again, mdf would have been better but way more expensive.

Did you shoot a laser to get your lines or just tape it?

A laser level would have been nice but nah I used a 4 foot level and a chalk line.

Nice work. What program did you use to draw it?

MDF is carcinogenic, you did yourself a favor not using it

I used autocad. I didnt know that about mdf, that sucks, used to work in a shop that used it a lot. Rip.

Your work looks good. The design is ugly as fuck though.

It's impossible to have flat drywall when the framing is shitty. And most of the time it seems like a lot of shitty framing comes from cheap shitty materials. That and cheap shitty workers.

Its a pretty new house, most of them are shit. And yeah its some trendy accent wall women see on home reno shows and apparently love.

Nice job. I trimmed up a wall similar to this to hide a secret passage when I made a craft room for my wife.

That sounds really cool. Tricky hanging doors like that I bet it was fun.

I'll grab a couple pics and make a post. I made the door myself. That way I could blend it into the wall.
