Only charged her in beer too! I was pretty pleased with how this turned out, I would do a few things differently if I had to do another one. Firstly, no fucking pine either all mdf or mdf and hardwood. I would have mitred the corners but the table saw I had at the time was kind of shitty and it would have taken too much fuckery. Now dont be to hard on me this was the first time I did tiling. Side note, that fucking wall was bowed about 1/2" over 5 feet. The bulkhead was fucked as well. New homes, they dont build them like they used to.

This is primo work! Very nicely done.

I just recently moved and sadly had to leave behind my fireplace in my home that I'm now renting. My new place doesn't have a fireplace and it's smaller, so my wife found an old antique, grand picture frame at a junk shop and repurposed it into a fireplace.

Thats cool. I remember demoing an old building from the 1930s, I found a painting behind the shitty wall they built over the fireplace for some reason.
