Turns out I didn’t have a 3/8 hole saw bit to make the plugs, no matter… A 12mm Diamond hole saw did the job (pic8.co). Smelled like burnt mahogany, but did the job. There are six plugs in this picture, some more obvious than others. (pic8.co)

I mean… it’s wood, so yes. Does it take on water with a child on board? I’m going to wait a solid two years to test that. My gut says she’s gonna sink, first time building a boat.

Either way it looks great. Can always coat the bottom with fiberglass

Thanks. As long as my baby likes it I’ll be happy. If she doesn’t I’ll leave her to the wolves and try again.

Just kidding, I’m gonna love that kid even if she hates her crib.
