Turns out I didn’t have a 3/8 hole saw bit to make the plugs, no matter… A 12mm Diamond hole saw did the job (pic8.co). Smelled like burnt mahogany, but did the job. There are six plugs in this picture, some more obvious than others. (pic8.co)

That's cool, you gonna make some little oars to paddle it, or a tiny sail could be neat too.
