I’ve heard about customized Windows versions for big corporate customers. They’ve been doing that for decades.

Corporations made Microsoft disable automatic updates on their machines so they could vet them first before their entire fleet of machines got screwed over every “patch Tuesday”.

The new forced Microsoft Live login will be disabled for most corporate customers. They either don’t want their employees to have to login to their company laptop with a personal Microsoft account, or they’ll have them login to a company account (likely Octa) instead.

Microsoft can disable this AI crap and they’ll do it whenever a big corporate customer tells them to.
