Any suggestions for a script or a setting I need to change? I keep as many services as possible either manual or disabled, such as my vpn- I turn it on as needed because my devices are completely disconnected from wifi when not in use. Windoze is such a data mining bitch I try my best to limit it.

I've tried registry, gpo (group policy editor) and task scheduler but win 11 turns my vpn settings to automatic.

Any help would be appreciated.

The main guy pushing and writing systemd just quit (redhat) to go work for Microsoft. Embrace Extend Extinguish (The Microsoft motto).

Pottering?

Edit: Fuck. Time to move. Pisses me off. So much of my day jobs is entrenched in daemon code and my company has already abandoned the Sys V approach in favor of systemd.

It happens to all of us. Ive been stuck in systemd world since RHEL & CentOS adopted it.
