Now if you ever got your homepage taken over or think your internet connection is being sent to a middleman to watch your internet activity aka making money off your web browsing. Then try this command. I found this after using all the ipconfig commands I could think of. I did a dirty delete of comodo and it was apparently watching all my internet activity on windows xp I ran that till 2015. But the command at the end will reset your entire winsock network stack to the day you installed it and fix all tweaks and virus changes to a one time fast internet connection. This is the only command that will work in many cases where your connection is totally fucked on a machine even when you change adapters since it changes the system level like an admin can. I believe you might need admin level privileges to run this command.

netsh winsock reset

BTW I last used windows on a Dell machine that on windows 10 was running 80K max download speed but on Linux mint same machine same router it was hitting 1.2mb download speed which slowed down when they replaced the driver for my wifi with a garbage one made for another similar adapter with a different chipset number, the lazy fuck maintaining it just added the adapter to the list of known good for the driver and my connection went to shit so I ended up changing to another adapter since they scrubbed the old driver off the internet, bastards.

I was sitting around earlier and thought of when I ended up on a second machine for a couple of weeks trying to fix the other machine when I found this command and it was the only thing that did shit for me besides waste my time like the ipconfig commands that everyone said were what I needed. So if you have a machine that you can't connect with known good hardware after a virus then try that command and get pissed at every repeater advice you ever got from morons that knew a friend it worked for and the page is a bonus so I recommend saving the page to the partition you save programs and shit in so when you need it again you'll have it and save the command as a text file with the command as the name of the file. netsh winsock reset.txt then you won't have to open the file to copy the command when you internet shits itself.
