pretty sure you are correct.

I have, roughly 8 active computers in my domecile, just me... no fam use, all work work work for Ole Pa.

I enjoy a break and the odd game, and I've got VR which has most utility under the existing suite of windows based products.

It makes me sad. I dont want to run windows anymore. Back in the day, we dual booted to learn linux, but use as a primary OS was far fetched, but no longer, we could do this if we wanted to, but only once we have the products making it worthwhile. Its moving, but the linux world moves so slow. I am hopeful that one day we can shutter windows for all purposes and embrace an operating system that does not betray the operator.

Only my one machine is win10, as it was required for the desired applications (I do protest!), the rest are modern nix variants.

The win10 machine is he only one that refuses to obey me completely, and frequently performs tasks I either did not request OR have explicitly forbidden. Its beyond the pale if you know what to look at. It really is a violation.
