The Takase River (高瀬川, Takase-gawa) is a canal in Kyoto, Japan.
That's the name of the canal, which originally was a river they paved.
Like the LA River but nicer. For anyone who doesn't know it's where several car chase movies have been filmed. Also gymkhana, that's the best. There is typically just a nasty trickle going through the "river".
