Seeing people come to buy fish and handing the owner money, this cat went out and got a leaf to pay for her fish. On the first day, the owner of the shop thought this was very cute, so he gave her a small fish. Now everyday this cat comes in to buy a fish with a leaf.

I've seen this same story but with a dog and that one had video. So I'm inclined to think this is made up. Cat's are smart but they don't have the social intelligence to do this.

There is a video. I saw it a few months ago. It shows the cat watching people buy fish, then picks up a leaf to take to the vendor. It's pretty awesome.

Not sure if the post has the full story. One day the cat did not come by. The shop owner went out to look for her, she had been hit by a car but was still alive.

The shop owner was able to rescue her and adopted her. She now lives with him and gets all of the fish she wants.

Actually, you might be right. Im probably mixing this up with a different story. I think the one I was writing about was a different cat that did not buy food with a leaf but was being fed by the shop owner daily and the rest afterwards...

Ill have to go see if I can find that article again.
