Iirc, somebody on nu-Voat who knew the shooter posted about this case when it initially happened. Said that the guy isn't exactly too bright and that he has somewhat of a rough life because of it. This dickhead prankster decided to pick on someone who didn't deserve any of this and ended up with eating a bullet. I hope he gets all charges dropped and the prankster ends up getting charged with something instead.

holy shit that spin on the video trying to make it look like the shooting wasn't justified. He absolutely did the right thing shooting him. Dude in his face with backup friend, random strangers, much larger size and aggressive behavior, following closely behind so he couldn't turn his back and walk away (which he tried to do). people saying that he brought a cell phone to a gun fight, if he hadn't engaged in that behavior at all, then he wouldn't have been shot. Simple as.
You seem to be glossing over the fact that he still got convicted of a lesser FELONY. Still serving time.
