when i was 16 i went potato gun insane. i made like 20 potato guns tried 30 different propellents. my best design was make normal potato gun and put the igniter in the cap. fill the cap with hot glue. i always just used the red grill button ignitor and a piece of copper wire. use brake cleaner and just a spritz at the threads and close it immediately. that thing would blow a 2 foot muzzle flash and the orange flame could be seen through the pvc at night. sounded like a shotgun and kicked almost as hard.
