Nice acquisition. Very cool piece of history. It would be awesome to know the original recipient and his story.
I agree, What an amazing story it must be.

New fella with the good intro. Thanks for posting this. Very cool.
Yes Sir, You're welcome.
Beautiful. A symbol of an amazing time for Europe, sadly ended by the jews, globalists and communists.
Neato mate. I got this civilian medal at a flea market (ist6-4.filesor.com)
Did you redpill the grandson at all?
Nice! I have my eye on several civilian medals also. My Wife wants, The Cross of Honour of the German Mother (German: Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter). Awesome how they awarded great mothers with a medal also.
I did not know the grandson personally so I didn't want to drop red pills at that time. But I have feeling he knew more than he said.
Which award? Bronze, silver or gold?
As of now, Bronze. Would love to have more children and make it a Silver.
God is the one who blesses us with children, He has shown us that he wants us to procreate, divine blessings. We have had several divine interventions that allowed us to have our kids.
Wow. How's your bro reconcile with mom
What? Lol
The casting looks pretty rough, wartime conditions possibly.
Could be. I do know that it was open and on display at the US vets house for a long time till he passed away.
Must be very late war. Very cool though. Worn on the lower left side of the uniform blouse, hence the pin.
Im thinking the same thing, late war period.
No makers mark I can see.
The makers mark is on the back of the pin, a single stamp of # "20" I researched it years ago but forgot who was the maker. Looking now, will update. Will post a pic too
