I've been in this situation twice with owls. First time about 30yrs ago, an owl flew into a barbed wire fence behind my mothers house. He was stuck on 1 of the barbs right in his forehead. Got him loose, the other time about 10yrs ago, same spot on that fence this one got hung on a barb in his foot. Helped that out of his predicament. Beautiful creatures.
