I bet these men didn’t talk about red light therapy and dairy allergies
Lol! Are you familiar with the series of books? A school teacher in North Georgia Appalachia started a project to motivate his students - basically had them interview their grandparents about how they did things to survive. They documented it all, and the books resulted. Then the Foxfire Center was formed, living history museum and new books continue to be published. My inlaws had the original 6 volume set - I kept Volume 1. It has detailed info on hog slaughtering and general info on cabin building. They're great reads if you're into those types of things, and would be an invaluable reference for homesteader types. 5/5 Ducks - highly recommend!
Are you familiar with the Foxfire (amazon.com) series of books?
