Of course, the system is failing as single motherhood becomes more and more ubiquitous, making children of single mothers more and more the only young faces you see. This will eventually lead to a collapse after UBI, and families will be able to be repaired with historical contingencies like arranged marriage and multigenerational households. However, I haven't seen the actual bread and circuses weaken in my years of observation. That said, you probably already knew all this. (((Those))) currently in power knew exactly how the NSDAP rose to power. The checks and balances they put in place to prevent another might not wear down enough as soon as you think (at least they are no longer overtly using insane asylums for sane men like they did to Rockwell), so you might want to diversify your future a bit.
