Technically the only limitation on downvotes we got is that people can't downvote more than they upvote.
Posts/comments with large negative points are not hidden.
You can't be silenced with downvotes. Brigading doesn't work here.

Does this mean we have a "big meanie" rule like voat? I think that's a little unfair to the extremely negative.
It's a design choice.
We believe that downvote is not a disagree button. We prefer to engage in discussion and bring a counter-argument to opposing views.
Yeah but say I use the downvote button appropriately but never upvote.
