I don't see them anywhere. I think I keep running up against a DV limit, but I'm not sure. And are there point based limitations like Voat? I've gotten the impression from some posts that that's not the case. But I don't see it documented anywhere. I'm just looking to know what's what here and how the system works.

But that's not even what I'm talking about. It seems like I'm limited in the number of DVs I can give per day. That's the one that brought up my question. And then there are all the others that brings. Can someone be DVed into unusability? Because that's a part of the Voat immunity system. Maybe you guys just haven't had time to document it. And maybe it's they're carried over from Phucks(which I dont use enough to know their rules)

Idk, just something I've been thinking about over the last day or so w the troll problem here, and I dont see anything documented.

Thanks for the answer, and sorry if this is wrong sub, but I also think this need to be more public facing. So new users know, or can find it easy.

Can someone be DVed into unusability?

The limitation is because your account's level doesn't have enough points. The more you post and UV stuff, the better you score gets. I can't remember exactly how many, but we'll fix that in the next update.

Right. That's what I figured. And I went looking for how many and whatnot. Not a big deal to me really. But it's a question other will have. Those kind of rules have to be laid out so people know.

I don't really care. I'll just hit a wall and say, whatever. And I have a way of accumulating enough points that I never care about how many I have, it always enough to do as I wish.

Just looking for the rules.

The goal of this limitation is to incite people to upvote more than they downvote.

We believe that a downvote is not a "I disagree" button, but a spam/shitpost-troll one. We think replying by using a counter-argument backed with facts is more important than just downvoting something you disagree with.
