Do you go? Have you ever served?
The cross section of people who actually show up for a jury selection is quite interesting.
It seems to me they are relying at least in my county on a couple hundred of the same people out of maybe 100k to actually fill juror's seats.
Anyone gotten busted for never going? Do you think it's a good system? Personally I get summons every year and always report, always claim hardship and always get dismissed.

Once you've served it's years until you get summoned again

I actually got called in every year for the first 5 years I was eligible, and got interviewed in the box each time. They just can't call you in for 1 year after. Whether you actually get called in is up to luck.

Wow, where I live it's several years between summonses. I suppose the frequency has to do with the population (the less people, the more often they're called).
