OK, when I quit wearing tennis shoes I have always worn boots now. The transition was when I first bought some adidas hiking boots. Kind of a cross between the two really. I have worn many different brands, back then I was sold on rocky but their quality went down but where always comfortable on first wear.

I own alot of quality boots now. I have only worn one brand for the last 3 years. Im no spring chicken and work physically outside. My feet finally started bothering me back then. I finally went to a redwing store, hated I couldnt buy them online.

Man their kingtoe is awsome. I have been wearing model 2426 fulltime now. Got to get the custom inserts also. Life changing. This particular model is made in USA. I get a year and a half of daily wear and the boot separates from the sole on the side. $250 is ok still for that long of comfort, Got a new pair today. On the third one.

Not the first man I've heard say that Redwings are amazing.
