As do we all. Life goes on and there's not a damn thing us lil' folks can do about it. It's a machine with no real checks and balances. That's why I laugh when people blame boomers for everything ... like we had any say ... anymore than you guys today. The establishment is entrenched and doing what they wanna do, while we're off living our lives.
The boomer bit is angry lashing out. I too do it from time to time. Even the 80s and 90s felt like they were lived in a different country, almost like an alternate universe.
Yup, it was a different time. I laugh mostly because those who bitch about such things are doing absolutely nothing to change it, even if they could. Hell, we all bitch, it doesn't solve anything.

These aren't minor ideological differences but there's nothing I can or am willing to do about them.
It's a little bit of venting. I'll get up tomorrow and feel better. Strangely enough Janis Joplin comes to mind though I reject much of the 60s "revolution". "Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose." I've got enough to lose now and my life is pretty good. I'm not gonna larp as some "revolutionary". Family > all.
