Little bit. Just woke up feeling that way I guess today. It's those "true believers" ya gotta be wary of. Like Trump is still a thousand times better than Hillary and my only other choice... but I still wish Ron Paul was still around. "Encryption Backdoors"... about as smart as cars where you can remotely disable the brakes... I know he's no privacy champion. I knew it from the start but neither was Hillary. Still feels like his AG wants to just piss all over the constitution right now. One of the reasons for 1776 was the British reading our mail. Drop an E in front of mail and suddenly it's OK. Just b/c I dislike the Republican party far less doesn't mean I am one. W/ guys like Gary Johnson, I can't even be a libertarian anymore. These aren't minor ideological differences but there's nothing I can or am willing to do about them. So I'll keep on eating the shit sandwich. Still voting Trump in 2020. Shrug...
As do we all. Life goes on and there's not a damn thing us lil' folks can do about it. It's a machine with no real checks and balances. That's why I laugh when people blame boomers for everything ... like we had any say ... anymore than you guys today. The establishment is entrenched and doing what they wanna do, while we're off living our lives.
The boomer bit is angry lashing out. I too do it from time to time. Even the 80s and 90s felt like they were lived in a different country, almost like an alternate universe.
Yup, it was a different time. I laugh mostly because those who bitch about such things are doing absolutely nothing to change it, even if they could. Hell, we all bitch, it doesn't solve anything.
