Yeah, for sure there's got to be a happy medium. But people calling for the total banning of glyphosate don't understand how much we rely on it.

they're developing farming robots which spot-spray the plant itself, and not everything in the area

it's a technology that'll reduce usage and contamination by 95%, so of course you've probaby heard nothing about this

That's true I guess new tech doesn't always take us in a bad direction. I'm sure Monsanto is trying to find a way to stop it.
