Oh boo hoo, some worm dude is upsetting you with his posts because you disagree with him.

Who cares? It's just one user. He's not even spamming. He's just posting his own shit and that's fine.

You realize you look like a massive faggot when you bitch about "I NO LIEK HOW SAYS THINGS!!!!"

Personally, I take the position of enjoying the weirdos.

Attack ideas, not people.

Do you think it would be reasonable to restrict the amount of submissions a user can make on a daily basis?

Because in the short time I've been here when I browsed /all/new it seemed like every second to third submission was a tranny accusation.

One or two more retards like that and all/new would be rendered useless. Someone dedicated to flood the website with irrelevant content will easily outcompete people who post real content.

Being supportive of this out of principle will make it easy to attack poal.

Gaming the signal to noise ratio is also censorship. I'm glad at least two of us recognize it.

It wouldn't be a bad idea, I suppose. Except that it would simply encourage them to create even more accounts and point farm.

That's why the admins AOU and PMYB2 are working on giving the users the ability to block other users. That way they'll be doing their shilly shit and only the people who want to see that crap will see it.

I haven't seen a rule in the ToS against making multiple accounts and right now you don't even need a unique and valid e-mail address.

If they really wanted to they could just make a new account for every couple of submissions.

In saul alinskies rules for radicals one of the rules is "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.". It's about abusing the principle someone upholds in every way possible. That's basically what they are doing.

They won't know who is blocking them if the individual user is able to block other users.

You're right about them just making another account. But, they won't know to make another account unless they've been site-wide banned by the admins.

Poal has to try something different to combat these types of trolls. It happened to Reddit and Voat and all those sites did was ban users when they caused a problem. AOU and PMYB2 want to avoid sending Poal down the same path.
