Agreed, I believe in the pure teachings of Jesus, but as far as the Bible goes, I don't take it the same way. It's been interpreted so many times and mixed with questionable ideas meant to control. I think religion can be used for good but has been largely manipulated into something more controlling.

I will answer single direct questions. Jesus comanded all people to follow the law of moses. He did it. He told other people to do it. Only in the matters of physical life and death did he impart the start of his covenant. He told them of spiritual death instead. Such as insteading of the adulteress being stoned, her sins died instead of her body. Should she had sonned again willingly her spirit would have died. But jesus also told people he healed to present themselves to the temple to get authorised to reenter society.

Most confusion about Christianity I see these days is that people do not look at their issues one topic at a time.
