I was just over there and putt admitted his code had banned some users it wasn't intended to but he was reinstating users that were banned accidentally and he had to work on the code because it had unintendedly banned good users as well as the shit ones. He is going to tweak the code for the future. A mod got banned but the mod was basically doing shit for their mod duties and were allowing shit to go on when the users should have gotten the boot. So the bans in many cases were because of a small error in the coding. Coding is not like writing a letter and in some cases will do the opposite because of one character or missing punctualtion.
