Here's something to think about:
As far as alternatives to Wikipedia go, not many have been well maintained over time. However, we could change this. What if someone were to build a free speech alternative to Fandom? It would be a simple concept: A forked version of MediaWiki that little wikis can exist within.
I personally think it would work really well. Because when you have a single page for a certain subject like Wikipedia does, it is heavily vulnerable to people fighting over what information should be in there, especially with rather controversial subjects. But if you have several wikis within one hub that each have their own pages offering different perspectives on certain subjects, not only will one be able to truly grow their knowledge, but one can easily be able to judge which is most objective and choose who to rely on for certain information regarding certain subjects. Plus, people will be able to more easily tell what is misinformation because they'll have been exposed to examples of misinformation within the hub.
So with this idea, we could not only create an alt-tech alternative to Fandom, but also to Wikipedia.
