In the past few weeks, I've graduated college and am now working a full time job. It's not the highest paying gig, but it feels good to be done with school and to be earning some dough. Plus, the job is in healthcare, so it's meaningful to me.

I'm also starting to volunteer at the local animal shelter. Today, I learned that their euthanasia rate is 3.3%, which is incredibly low.

The general trend going on here is that I'm giving my life more meaning. I'm working to leave the world a better place then when I got here, or at least, not make it any worse.

Even picking up a few pieces of trash I see on trails has some meaning.

I feel happy. I'm wasting a lot less time.

I credit this to the YT channel a-bas-le-ciel. I highly recommend it. The guy is incredibly knowledge in many different areas, mainly languages, history, and politics. For what it's worth, the guy who runs it is half-Jewish.

Dude, it's good to hear you're doing well. You have to get in on the ground floor with any career path, so it's great that you're started on something, especially if it's meaningful to you. The main thing is you're gaining knowledge -- don't forget that.

Your volunteerism and love of animals is baffling to me, but to each his own.

Good on you as well for wasting less time. I hope when you do waste it it'll be on the occasional Sunday night Poalcast.
