Considering that Brave seems to be shilling on 4chan and is getting a bit huffy about Dissenter, they do seem fishy. It used to seem like they were on an anti-advertiser campaign, but now it appears they were more interested in having them a certain way.
I thought the initial tweet for Dissenter was pretty comical and the original developer wasn't very good at showing restraint.
It's pretty funny when someone says "I just made a browser" and all they've done is copied some source code to another folder and compiled it. They probably should have already had some customization before say "we made a browser."
All I'm saying is that first tweet probably did deserve that response but the developer should have still shown restraint and let others laugh at them. (I don't think what gab is doing is a joke but whoever wrote that tweet was jumping the shark a bit).
Gab should have waited until they made the app store they are talking about for it. I think that would have been better.
