This is going to sound wack, and I thought so too, but I stopped using shampoo 6 months ago. Can't tell any difference; I just use one of those spiky scalp combs every day.
I work in the heat and sweat too; doesn't smell and stays clean. Doesn't even stay oily

did you stick it out for 2+ weeks so the sebum stops overproducing?
