The BBC News Pidgin site has the exact same content as the normal BBC site except that they "translate" all of the articles into the abomination known as "Pidgin"

I'm looking at you on this one.

The content is just bad content. They take their normal content and turn it into utter crap. Every now and then it is amusing to post/see their Pidgin content just to remind the world how ridiculously stupid it is... but there is zero reason that that shit should be getting posted to a news based sub on a regular basis.

A major problem in Reddit, the same post, question, etc., again and again. Not sure though how it happens here. When I try to post something already posted, a sorta popup warning tells me so....maybe some ignore the warning....maybe the warning is hit or miss?

A lotta times it's just the exact same story from a different source. Or is posted into a different sub. Anyway, it's no big deal, it just gets to be annoying some days. The same was true on Voat. Anytime there's a big news story, a ton of people post it. It just gets annoying, and I guess more so here because we're so small to start with.

Is there a way to avoid posting "the exact same story from a different source"? I still think I don't have a good handle on poal, and I'm just stumbling around in the dark.
