Every person I know who went for economics originally fell for the university's communist programming, but by the time they got out of their degree, they were hardcore libertarian. Every math major I've met came out hardcore libertarian as well. Most of the hard sciences and engineers came out pretty brainwashed, though, which is surprising considering the amount of math courses they usually have to take.
