One time

One time, my brother and I were on a road trip from Texas to California. Along the way we decided to stop in Vegas for the night, as neither of us had been before. It was a long drive and we figured we would get some rooms at the Luxor. After checking in we went down to the bar to grab a drink and get some change to go gamble a little. As we walk up I noticed a bottle of Macallan 30 year old single malt scotch sitting on the shelf behind the bar. I had never seen this scotch and I immediately ordered a glass my brother did the same. We hand the bartender a 100 each and he gives us the drinks. I take a sip and it is the most wonderful scotch I have ever tasted, light, fruity, with hits of smoke and the sea. As I turn back to the bar to get my change the bartender hands me 2 dollars. Well shit... Not what I was expecting. I felt like a jackass but damn that was the best whiskey I've ever had. And that's the story of the most expensive shot I ever bought.

This one time a bar wanted $4 whole dollars for a single bottle of shitty beer! The nerve! Needless to say i said fuck that shit, and went and bought a case of 30 for $20.

Someday I'll go to a bar. Wife is a light drinker (very light, like one glass of wine is enough), so I don't have company. I really want to go to a bar and drink some faggot cocktails like dry martini, Manhattan, idk, these mixed drinks with bitters and shit. I know it's expensive as fuck, but I never tried. I don't even know how a dry martini tastes. Even if I conclude that raw whisky is better, I have to try once.

Wow, I bought a 300$ shot of tequila once and didn’t think it was worth it perhaps I just don’t have as refined a pallet.

I can't see paying that much for tequila, but hey if you would have asked me before I bought mine I would have said the same thing about whiskey. Stupid paying that much for any alcohol

I am one of the very few idiots that accidentally ordered that very shot. It was loud, I asked for their best scotch. The guy said something, I leaned up saying I couldn't hear him. He said something about needing my credit card because garble, garble. I said, great! He asked me again to make sure, and I noddee and waved him away because he was starting to annoy me. Totally stupid. Best Scotch I have ever had though.
