It's the whatever sub. Kind of like the island for misfit toys. The name, itself, suggests inclusiveness.
You make a good point, however generally speaking we don't try to sell things in , as evidenced by the downvotes on the post. We also don't use the downvote button as an I disagree button, its really only used on what people consider spam. I'd welcome you to make your own sub for selling things though.
