I know that Poal needs more content and more users, but this just does not seem right.

I bet a few people will rush to add a single line of error handling code to their script when they see this, but at least the quality of posts will go up.

Or you accidentally pressed "Enter", which triggers the title grabbing code (which doesn't have anything to grab when it's a direct pic link), before clicking submit. (happened to me)

You still have the ability (5 minutes) to edit the title.

Also, 7 posts (4, if you don't take the sbbh turd into account) over the past 7 months is not really a lot.

I like to give the benefit of doubt but the title is not the only thing that makes me think this... when I see one sub flooded with 10+ posts in a very short time all from the same person it makes me go "hummm..." I see this on occasion while browsing /all/new. When you see it with young time stamps you can see how quickly it happened. After a day all those posts just say "A day ago" but when you see them all with a age of less than 10 min it is really obvious.

I don't reckon seeing new accounts flooding posts. Do you have links?

FYI Poal uses colored names for that reason. It makes it easier to spot spambots and shills when they mass posts crap to take over the new queue.

Light blue accounts are the new ones. You can see the color code in the welcome page: https://poal.co/welcome

I don't see this every day... this is not endemic. I'll point it out to you the next time I see it... last time I was suspicious was when we got a flood of posts in /aww overnight right when voat was having their /aww drama.

maybe I see it because I browse /all/new and people edit the titles... but it feels like I see it frequently.

Bots/scripts don't fix the title, real users do. ;)

...yeah, I was conceding your point and agreeing with you. Saying that maybe I see them before the use can edit.

I cant imagine who that would be...
