You spare the rod you spoil the child. This is what those that had zero discipline when kiddies, grow up to become....spoiled ferals with no self-control. So now you got strong six foot tall three-year olds, throwing tantrums and getting violent. Solution: instead of the spanking or switching that should of been applied as children (when they were easily handled), one must now apply bone-crunching brute force behavioral modification to correct the 'adult' misbehavior.
