Caleb McGillvary better known as "Kai the Hatched Wielding Hitchhiker," was convicted of first degree murder (youtube.com) and sentenced to 57 yrs imprisonment (cbsnews.com), for the homicide of 73 yo lawyer Joseph Galfy who was found dead in his New Jersey home May 13, 2013, about three months after McGillvary's interview (youtube.com) with Fresno Fox affiliate KMPH that catapulted him to minor fame.
I am gonna say “Kai the Hitchhiker's" rise to internet fame in 2013 was a plot .. that snuff porners knew he was a murderous psychopath and blew his trumpet on YouTube, via fake upvotes, robot subscribers and bought comments, knowing full well he would kill as he had killed before, where after sequels and life stories and video games could be sold to the public .. that his persona was manufactured as a money making ploy.
What? How much money could anyone have made with this guy? He didn't have a following; he was in one viral news clip people laughed at and moved on from.
